What You Will Do - Direct all phases of programs from inception through completion. - Oversee and coordinate the administrative and operational aspects of ongoing projects within program guidelines. - Liaise between project management and planning, project teams, and line management. - Prepare proposals, business plans, proposal work statements and specifications, operating budgets and financial terms/conditions of contract. - Review project and budget status, manage schedules and prepare reports. - Monitor and assess project issues and develop resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and customer-satisfaction goals and objectives. - Represent RTX as the primary customer contact for projects. - Direct the work of employees assigned on projects in technical, manufacturing and administrative areas. - Establish design concepts, criteria and engineering efforts for product development, integration and test. - Responsible for procurement of appropriate development hardware used for testing and development. - Meet program schedules and budgets. Provide input to the integrated master schedule for project(s). Qualifications You Must Have - Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field - Demonstrated professional or educational experience communicating in English and Spanish (verbal and written). - U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract Qualifications We Prefer - Knowledge/Experience: Practical knowledge managing complex projects and working with cross functional teams.
