At QS, you’ll be responsible for implementing real change in the international higher education landscape, full of exciting and interesting challenges where you can drive positive impact across the business. **The role** This role will report directly to the Executive Producer [Americas & Europe] and offer flexible working arrangements. Experience working with the HE sector would be useful but not essential and an experience in events management or publishing would be useful. **Role responsibilities**: - Support the Executive Producer [Americas & Europe] and team on event planning, budget, strategy, and development, to organize planned &/or sponsored events. - Assist in the design of the event experience, ensuring a high-quality level of delivery in support of the event's strategy and stakeholder needs. - Work closely with publication team to draft content for event website, invitation letter, marketing promotions, program brief and social media platforms. - Liaising with hosts, exhibitors, sponsors, speakers, visitors and internally on logistic aspects - Interact with key decisions makers and account holders. - Host meetings with internal and/or external parties to communicate & tie up for event deliveries. - Work with in-house designer to ensure event information is accurately represented. - Develop and improve the stakeholder experience in future events. - Manage and liaise with vendors for quotation, logistic/services requirement, onsite setup, and delivery of the required logistic/services. - Assist in the management of event websites, CRM system, EDM and weekly newsletter. - Some travel will be required - up to 30 percent of your time will be spent traveling to various events. - Scope outside the above listed will be required from time to time as team needs to adapt to changing environment e.g. digital deliveries. **Key skills and experience**: - Educated to university degree level. - Experienced in event marketing, ideally in event industry with capacity to manage multiple projects simultaneously. - Proven experience carrying out event marketing efforts, including trade show planning, attendance, and reporting. - Experience partnering with an enterprise sales team. - Ability to handle pressure, multi-task, and work within tight schedules/deadlines. - Highly organized with an ability to manage resources, budgets, and onsite personnel. - Strong communication skills - written and oral. - You are creative, innovative, and always think outside the box. - Highly organized and proficient at managing multiple projects with tight timelines. - Excellent Spanish and/or Portuguese is highly desirable but not required. - Excellent English, both written and verbal. - QS Quacquarelli Symonds is proud to be a fair and equal organisation where everyone has the same opportunity to achieve their full potential, irrespective of their background or personal attributes.
