Access Control Technician Location: Columbia, SC Pay Rate: $22-28/hr PPE: Hard hat, safety vest, safety glasses, work boots, etc. Scope of Work (SOW): Installing and programming Access Control Systems (ACS) and Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS), including door strikes, card readers, cameras, CCTV, maglocks, etc. Equipment/Certifications: Software House, Lenel, Identicard, Vanderbilt, Exacq, Milestone, Axis, AMAG, etc. Job Responsibilities: Install and maintain electronic security systems Review design documentation for installation and maintenance activities Perform installation and maintenance within planned durations Ensure high-quality device and component installation Configure servers, workstations, panels, and programmable components under supervision Conduct testing to verify installations and identify system issues Install system raceway and cabling, terminate and test cabling and components Install equipment racks, enclosures, panels, and mounting hardware Meet attendance and working hours requirements Communicate effectively with supervisors Complete detailed testing, as-built, and quality control documentation Participate in logistics planning for personnel and equipment Referral Program: Anistar pays you for referrals!
