Job Title : Project Management Office Assistant Manager Reports to : President Work Location/Travel: Remote within Colombia or on-site at client locations. Occasional travel (up to 20%) may be required for client engagements. Job Summary: We're seeking driven and passionate professionals to join our growing team in Colombia. You'll collaborate with global experts on cutting-edge projects, deliver tailored solutions for clients, and play a key role in establishing Apex IT's footprint in LatAm . Support the Project Management Organization (PMO) in a wide range of ways including daily operations and administrative activities. Essential Functions: New project intake Create B2As Weekly QA of Budget to Actuals Reports Assist in monitoring of Budget Consumption, adjustments, and financial analysis Assist in tracking down project statuses and change orders Maintenance and updating of forecasts Review unassigned roles on projects Monitor and update resource roll-off Monitor and update project completion dates Update of Project Roll-off Matrix Monitor Delivery Compliance Review and address incoming PMO inquiries Assist in development and updating of documentation and templates Perform other related duties, as assigned Duties/Responsibilities: The Project Manager coordinates all aspects of internal and external projects, including solution implementations for clients, to ensure successful delivery. Define project scope, processes, and best practices for each project Create detailed project road maps, plans, and schedules Set deadlines, assign responsibilities, and evaluate project risks Develop budgetary estimates and monitor budget constraints throughout project Monitor progress of the project at every step Manage contracts and documentation Manage and resolve escalations and issues Ensure that service commitments are attainable and profitable Deliver excellent customer service and maintain client relationships Contribute to internal initiatives and help shape our presence in Colombia. Share your expertise with team members and clients, fostering growth and innovation. Performs other duties as assigned. Competency: In-depth knowledge of information technology practices and procedures. Ability to adapt and thrive in a fast-paced environment. Organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritize effectively. Proactive in follow-ups to ensure tasks are completed efficiently. Thorough understanding of PMO principles and planning. Quick learner with proficiency in both general and specialized software, hardware, and industry-specific tools. Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite and related software platforms, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness in day-to-day tasks. Work Environment: The role may be performed remotely or on-site at a client location, depending on project requirements. For remote work, employees are expected to maintain a professional and distraction-free workspace, including appropriate virtual backgrounds if needed. A reliable and high-speed internet connection is essential to ensure smooth communication and productivity. Physical Requirements: Prolonged periods sitting or standing at a desk and working on a computer. Bending, sitting, lifting and driving. Required Education and Experience: At least 7 years of related experience required. Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience Basic knowledge and understanding of project management principles Analytical skills Solid organizational skills, including attention to detail and the ability to multi-task Ability to establish priorities, meet deadlines and solve problems Ability to work effectively in a team environment Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong working knowledge of MS Office Familiar with developing and tracking budgets Why Apex IT?
