Job Description Sutherland is seeking a Professional Services Engineer to lead the implementation, customization, and integration of our Fraud Detection and Anti-Money Laundering solutions from NICE Actimize Premier. This role requires a strong technical background in software development, customer interaction, and project management. The ideal candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D, Data Science, and Customer Support, to deliver high-quality solutions to financial institutions. Responsibilities Develop, configure, and implement software features according to design specifications and enterprise standards. Manage the technical planning and execution of customer projects to ensure successful deployment. Interact with customers to resolve technical queries, support user acceptance testing, and set expectations. Identify and mitigate technical dependencies and risks, working with internal teams as needed. Coordinate with Engineering teams to develop third-party integrations and optimize deployment processes. Collaborate with Data Scientists to develop and deploy Machine Learning models. Lead technical discussions, providing updates, risks, and resolutions to stakeholders. Report deployment progress to management using reporting tools and dashboards. Occasionally work on-site with clients or across different time zones, as required. Qualifications Education: BS/BA in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Experience: 3-5+ years in Professional Services or Software Development. Proficiency in Python, SQL, PL/SQL, and database technologies such as MongoDB, PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle. Experience with Unix commands and shell scripting . Knowledge of Cloud platforms (AWS preferred), DevOps tools (Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes), and ETL processes . Understanding of Web Services, RESTful APIs, networking, and web technologies . Strong analytical skills with experience analyzing large datasets and troubleshooting. Excellent communication and organizational skills, capable of explaining complex technical concepts. Ability to work independently and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment. Experience in Data Science and Machine Learning is a plus. Knowledge of financial systems, banking technologies (ACH, Wire, online banking platforms), and fraud/risk compliance solutions. Experience with Actimize (AIS/RCM/UDM) is advantageous.
