About the job: At Kent we are looking for a Designer Supervisor - Piping to support ongoing projects. The role will include developing and projecting each project's plans, drawings, and diagrams, applying specific knowledge, standards, and established norms to meet the Quality and Compliance parameters stipulated in the Value Promise. Skills and Responsibilities: Responsibilities: - Elaborate and project plans, drawings and diagrams: Prepare and project plans, drawings and diagrams specific to each project, applying specific knowledge, standards and norms established for each document, in order to ensure that the requirements and needs raised by the client and the Projects are met within the deadlines defined in the Detailed Work Program and with the Quality and Compliance parameters stipulated in the Value Promise. - Technical Support: Support the Engineers of the specialty in the preparation, revision, complementation or extension of the technical standards generally applied, according to procedures established by the Company and Client requests, in order to optimize and facilitate the development of the projects. - Support in Audit issues: Participate in the solution of internal audit findings, periodic verifications and/or non-conformity reports issued by the Quality Area, according to the request of your immediate boss, in order to support the implementation of activities that allow closing corrective and/or preventive actions for the timely development of improvement actions. Your knowledge/skills, education, and experience: Knowledge/ Qualification/ Training/ Certification: High School Degree. Specific experience more than 16 years of experience. Experience in the preparation of detailed piping plans, isometrics, support charts, instrument connections, vents, drains, material lists, material requisitions, work quantities, technical specifications, field information gathering. Experience in defining equipment distribution, piping corridors, area distribution, design coordination, technical reviews, elaboration of design bases and criteria, work team management. Experience in man-hour estimating, scope development and bid preparation. Advanced Drawing software (AutoCAD 2D and 3D), CADWorx and Autoplant. SmartPlant and SmartScketch experience desirable Knowledge of Office Suite, PowerPoint and Excel. Excellent knowledge and handling of documents from other disciplines. Excellent knowledge of Piping Class material specification and P&ID;'s. Extensive knowledge of Piping Design, Material and Dimensional Standards (ASME, ASTM, API). Communication: Excellent command of the Spanish language in both oral and written communication and skills Behavior/ Core Competencies: HSSEQ: The Employee shall observe the Health, Safety, Sustainability, Environment and Quality rules of the Company; it’s clients and the governing authorities of the host country. Sobre el cargo: En Kent estamos buscando un Design Supervisor - Piping para apoyar proyectos en curso. Su rol incluirá la elaboración y proyección de planos, dibujos y Diagramas propios de cada proyecto, aplicando conocimientos específicos, estándares y normas establecidas para cumplir con los parámetros de Calidad y Cumplimiento estipulados en la Promesa de Valor. Sus responsabilidades - Elaborar y Proyectar Planos, dibujos y Diagramas: Elaborar y proyectar planos, dibujos y diagramas propios de cada proyecto, aplicando conocimientos específicos, estándares y normas establecidas para cada documento, con el fin de garantizar que se cumplan los requerimientos y necesidades planteadas por el cliente y los Proyectos dentro de los plazos definidos en el Programa Detallado de Trabajo y con los parámetros de Calidad y Cumplimiento estipulados en la Promesa de Valor. - Apoyo Técnico: Apoyar a los Ingenieros de la especialidad en la preparación, revisión, complementación o ampliación de los estándares técnicos generalmente aplicados, de acuerdo con procedimientos establecidos por la Compañía y solicitudes de los Clientes, con el fin de optimizar y facilitar el desarrollo de los proyectos. - Apoyo en temas de Auditoría: Participar en la solución de hallazgos de auditorías internas, verificaciones periódicas y/o reportes de no conformidad emitidos por el Área de Calidad, de acuerdo a solicitud de su Jefe Inmediato, con el fin de apoyar la realización de actividades que permitan cerrar acciones correctivas y/o preventivas para el desarrollo oportuno de acciones de mejoramiento. Conocimientos/Calificaciones: - Bachiller Académico. - Mayor a 16 años de experiencia. - Experiencia en elaboración de Planos detallados de Tubería, Isométricos, cartilla de soportes, conexiones a instrumentos, venteos, drenajes, listados de materiales, requisiciones de materiales, cantidades de obra, especificaciones técnicas, levantamiento de información en campo. - Experiencia en definición de distribución de equipos, corredores de tubería, distribución de áreas, coordinación de diseño, revisiones técnicas, elaboración de bases y criterios de diseño, manejo de equipos de trabajo. - Experiencia en estimación de horas hombre, elaboración de alcance y elaboración de ofertas. - Manejo Avanzado de software de Dibujo (AutoCAD 2D y 3D), CADWorx y Autoplant. - Deseable experiencia SmartPlant y SmartScketch - Conocimiento de Paquete Office, PowerPoint y Excel. - Excelente conocimiento y manejo de documentos de otras disciplinas. - Excelente manejo de especificación de materiales de Tubería (Piping Class) y de P&ID;’s. - Amplio conocimiento de Normas de Diseño de Tuberías, de Materiales y dimensionales (ASME, ASTM, API).
