Job Description: We are a leading producer and distributor of high-quality ice and ice cream products, serving both commercial and retail clients throughout the Dutch Caribbean. This role drives preventive and predictive maintenance strategies using data, smart sensors, and structured planning—while ensuring full compliance with food safety, environmental, and refrigeration standards. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and manage a digital work order system for all operational assets. - Introduce smart sensor technology (temperature, vibration, current) to support predictive maintenance. - Ensure over 95% on-time completion of preventative maintenance tasks. - Lead a team of 10–15 technicians and contractors. - Train operators to conduct daily visual inspections and identify early warning signs. - Respond to breakdowns, lead root-cause investigations, and implement corrective actions. - Maintain over 98% uptime across 1,300+ in-store freezers using remote monitoring tools. - Manage ammonia plant and refrigerated vehicle systems in alignment with industry safety standards. Candidate Profile: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Refrigeration Engineering (Master's preferred). Minimum 5 years of experience managing technical operations in cold-chain or food production environments. Fluency in English and Spanish required.
