Job Description Job Number: HOT0BOGP Work Locations Hilton Bogota Corferias, Avenida El Dorado, Calle 26 Corferias 1629 Position Overview A Banquet Chef de Partie is responsible for supervising staff and ensuring high levels of food preparation to deliver an excellent Guest and Member experience, while assisting with food cost controls. What will I be doing? As a Banquet Chef de Partie, you will supervise staff and ensure high standards in food preparation. Your responsibilities include: Ensuring all food preparation meets standards Preparing and presenting high-quality food Maintaining clean and tidy work areas, preventing cross-contamination Preparing mise-en-place for relevant menus Responding to guest queries promptly and efficiently Ensuring food quality and proper storage Controlling costs and improving profit margins Supporting other departments and maintaining good relationships Training staff in compliance with company procedures Reporting maintenance, hygiene, and hazard issues Adhering to security, fire, health, and food safety regulations Being environmentally conscious What are we looking for? The ideal candidate is always working on behalf of our Guests and collaborates well with team members. To succeed, you should possess: At least 1 year of experience as a Chef de Partie or strong Demi Chef de Partie experience Strong coaching skills Motivational abilities to lead teams Basic Food Hygiene Certificate Supervisory experience Ability to work under pressure Ability to work independently or in a team Preferred additional capabilities include: Intermediate Food Hygiene certification Knowledge of current food trends What is it like to work for Hilton?
