Responsibilities include analyzing data, building models in software like Excel/VBA or R, and adapting global models for local contexts. Key Responsibilities and Skills: Model Development: Design, build, and validate health economic models (e.g., cost-effectiveness models, budget impact models, decision-analytic models). Data Analysis: Review, extract, and analyze data related to healthcare costs, quality-adjusted life-years, productivity losses, etc., to inform model development. Software Proficiency: Utilize software such as Excel and VBA, or R, to build and modify models. Adaptation of Models: Adapt global models for local HTA dossiers or other specific needs. Communication and Collaboration: Present findings in reports, user guides, and publications. Collaborate with HEOR teams, clients, and external partners. HTA Submission: Support the development of health technology assessment (HTA) submissions to agencies like NICE. Project Management: Understand project briefs, scopes, and budgets, identify risks, and ensure timely delivery. Thought Leadership: Contribute to the development of health economic thought leadership within the organization.
