Key Account and Transportation Procurement Supervisor Join to apply for the Key Account and Transportation Procurement Supervisor role at UPS. This role involves managing procurement activities in the transportation sector, ensuring cost optimization and operational efficiency. The candidate will work closely with suppliers and internal teams to deliver high-quality service. Responsibilities - Develop and implement transportation procurement strategies aligned with company objectives, including Tender processes. - Evaluate and select transportation service providers, managing contractual negotiations. - Monitor supplier performance and ensure compliance with SLAs. - Collaborate with logistics teams to analyze and improve transportation and distribution processes. - Work with Legal & Quality departments on contracts and Quality Agreements. - Analyze costs and propose solutions to optimize transportation expenses. - Manage and resolve logistics and supplier-related issues. - Maintain updated supplier and contract information, providing regular performance reports. Additionally, the role involves managing relationships with key clients to ensure satisfaction and contribute to revenue growth through targeted sales strategies. Additional Responsibilities - Manage a portfolio of strategic clients as the main point of contact. - Develop and implement strategic plans for each key account, identifying cross-selling and up-selling opportunities. - Analyze client needs and provide tailored solutions. - Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, product, customer service) to ensure excellent service. - Monitor client performance and provide regular reports on satisfaction and sales development. - Negotiate contracts and commercial agreements, including Tender preparations. - Participate in fairs, events, and meetings to promote company products/services. Requirements - Experience in logistics companies with roles in developing transportation services (FTL and LTL, national and international). - Experience in sourcing, evaluating, and organizing external transportation services. - Ability to manage a team of 8 in-person and 5 remote employees. - Proficiency in managing Italian and/or international clients. - Excellent command of English. - Organizational skills, proactivity, problem-solving, and commercial attitude.
