Fixed Asset Accountant - Location: Bogotá Colombia. As Fixed Asset Accountant within our Account to Report Team, you'll report to Assets Management Lead and work closely with Finance (Controlling, Treasury, Tax, Internal Control...), other SBS departments, Customer Service and A2R teams in regions / countries. Main responsibilities: - Participate in different activities relating to fixed asset life cycle (capitalizations, dispossals, transfers etc) - Perform asset depreciation and valuation, inventory valuation and month-end reporting - Contribute to periodic reviews of asset impairment and inventory follow-up - Address operational issues and follow through to resolution in an effective and timely manner - Managing audit requests for processes related to fixed assets - Performing periodic reconciliations and journal entries in accordance with the core model alignment. - Deliver operational KPIs and comply with Sanofi policies and guidelines About you - Experience: Experience in GL accounting preferably in an international multicultural environment. - Soft and technical skills: Knowledge of IFRS and local GAAPs, Hands-on expertise in Fixed Assets and Inventory accounting processes and activities and Hands-on experience of SAP FI. Ability to interact with internal and external clients in a professional manner and to organize, prioritize and structure the tasks for oneself and direct reports. - Education: Graduate degree in accounting or finance. - Languages: Intermediate English.
