Title and Summary Manager, Strategic Revenue Planning & Economics As a Manager in Consumer Solutions - Optimization & Economics, Pricing team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping Mastercard's business strategies and enjoy broad exposure to all its different aspects. You will work in an international environment, across geographies and all products. You will lead the economic strategies for Mastercard products and services, designing and implementing initiatives to strengthen our competitive position at the product and market levels. By enhancing and shaping our economics, you will contribute to the development and adoption of innovative payment solutions. You will be part of a dynamic team, working closely with colleagues from all horizons: across geographies and functional areas, analyzing a fast-moving economic landscape, and supporting the design of appropriate economics. Major Accountabilities: - Drive corporate consumer and digital objectives through economic levers - Support P&E; product teams through proposal development, understanding the product, core value, pricing structure, modeling pricing, and billing needs - Partner with global Product Owners to understand the product's value - Collaborate with Product Owners and Regional teams to drive value-based pricing and interchange proposals using our global pricing framework - Gain knowledge on metrics, measurements, and benchmarking practices across networks and data sources - Partner with Data Scientists to identify key data criteria for pricing models and billing processes - Work with the GBSC Billing team to understand billing processes for implementing pricing proposals - Perform pricing analysis to assess impact and solutions of potential initiatives at regional and market levels - Develop and present pricing proposals to the global pricing committee for approval - Manage communication and implementation of approved proposals, including review of requirements and follow-up - Identify and recommend best practices in pricing and interchange - Monitor competitive pricing and interchange practices Experience: - Experience in finance and/or economics - Experience in pricing is a plus - Price modeling experience - Strong analytical skills with a track record of translating data into insights - Project management, problem solving, and planning skills - Ability to coordinate multi-functional teams and lead as a subject matter expert - Leadership skills and ability to work independently - Fluency in English; second language is a plus - Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint; experience with SQL, Hadoop, Alteryx, Tableau is a plus Education: - Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or Engineering; Master's degree is a plus - International experience or programs required Corporate Security Responsibility All activities involving access to Mastercard assets, information, and networks carry inherent risks.
