Job Opportunity for Senior Accounting Professional The role of Senior Accountant is a key position within our organization, responsible for ensuring the integrity and accuracy of financials, compliance with policy and external accounting requirements. - Support assurance of integrity and accuracy of financials for acquisitions and ensure compliance with policy and external accounting requirements - Support management reporting requests, including variance analysis and preparation of executive presentations - Review of financial reporting processes to ensure mitigating risks based on design and evolution of business processes - Management of intercompany arrangements in partnership with Global Business Services and Tax - Support accounting-related matters on business transactions and accounting - Implementation of automated solutions to streamline processes - Alignment on Mastercard accounting policies and adherence to SOX as appropriate This role will also support the integration project timeline and deliverables, track progress and escalate risks or issues to leadership as needed. Key Qualifications: - Fluent in English - Degree in Accounting; Certification as CPA or equivalent required - Strong knowledge in US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) - Strong analytical skills with experience reviewing and analyzing for appropriate accounting treatment - Self-starter who is comfortable problem solving and operating in ambiguity - Excellent project management skills with strong analytical and financial skills - Excellent presentation and communication skills - Proactively builds relationships with business partners - Experience executing controls and assessing their effectiveness - Proficient PC skills, especially Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), Hyperion & Oracle a plus Benefits: - All activities involving access to Mastercard assets, information, and networks come with an inherent risk to the organization - Every person working for, or on behalf of, Mastercard is responsible for information security - Ensure the confidentiality and integrity of the information being accessed - Report any suspected information security violation or breach
