Your Key Responsibilities Payroll Excellence - Manage payroll processes, including handling timecards for hourly and salaried employees, and collaborating with Finance for smooth operations. - Serve as the point of contact for payroll inquiries, providing exceptional support. - Ensure compliance with payroll standards and procedures. - Assist employees and supervisors with timekeeping, training, and payroll-related requests. - Conduct routine payroll audits to ensure accuracy. - Process weekly payroll for two entities, including taxes and filings. - Verify payroll accuracy by maintaining current HR updates on benefits, leaves, and salary adjustments. - Provide reports on PTO, overtime, and meal breaks as needed. Accounting Brilliance - Collaborate with Accounts Payable to complete vendor reports accurately. - Process monthly invoices, audits, and reconciliations meticulously. HR Leadership - Support onboarding and termination processes, guiding new employees and assisting those in transition. - Manage recruitment activities by working with managers, posting job openings, and interviewing candidates. - Maintain employee files on SharePoint and Paylocity. - Administer the company's recognition program, ensuring timely delivery. - Assist with health benefits administration, including enrollments, terminations, and leave deductions. - Oversee PTO calendars and process weekly HR reports. What We’re Looking For - Education: High school diploma required; associate or bachelor's degree preferred. - Experience: 5+ years in payroll for mid-sized companies (200+ employees), 3+ years in HR. - Skills: Proficient in MS Office (especially Excel), familiar with HRIS systems (a plus). Strong multitasking and attention to detail. - Bonus: Knowledge of multi-state tax and wage laws, with California experience highly preferred. - Soft Skills: High integrity, teamwork-oriented, results-driven, with a strong sense of urgency.
