Be hands-on in architecting and implementing backend solutions from a given set of requirements as an individual contributor; 2. Create technical work plans and execute on those plans to accomplish backend objectives; 3. Assist in maintaining existing backend applications; 4. Contribute to Wordly’s engineering processes and culture to maintain a cooperative and supportive environment for all. Must haves 1. +3 years of experience working as a Developer; 2. Proficiency in Java; 3. Proficiency in Springboot, Micronaut or similar inversion-of-control + dependency injection frameworks; 4. Experience with microservices; 5. Experience with Unit Testing; 6. Ability to take direction from Senior engineers and work in conjunction with other engineers to accomplish objectives; 7. Ability to independently design smaller software features; 8. Comfortable working with a fully remote team; Nice to haves 1. Experience with Kotlin and/or Typescript – big plus; 2. Experience with ExpressJS – big plus; 3. Experience with MongoDB, Redis, and RabbitMQ; 4. B.S. degree in Computer Science or equivalent from an accredited institution. The benefits of joining us 1.
