We are seeking a highly skilled Data Research Analyst to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to work with large datasets, develop complex queries, and provide reports that drive business decisions. Key Responsibilities - Data Integrity Management: Ensure the accuracy and quality of data by implementing control structures within our systems. Perform data integrity gap analysis and coordinate the resolution of gaps by working with business owners and IT. - Thought Leadership: Participate in projects involving upstream or downstream data flows and processes. Provide strategic insights and recommendations to improve our data management practices. Responsibilities - Reporting and Analytics: Prepare monthly/quarterly claim analytics reports for senior management. Analyze key performance indicators for the Claims organization and identify trends and patterns. - Ad Hoc Reporting: Work with large datasets to create ad hoc reports and trend analysis. Assist with forecasting and claims strategy. - Fraud Detection: Help with fraud, subrogation, medical management, and legal analytics. Research data irregularities and present findings in a clear and concise format. Requirements - Experience: Prior experience as an analyst and/or knowledge of data mining is preferred. Prior insurance or reinsurance experience is also desirable but not mandatory. - Skill Set: Strong analytical and time management skills. Intermediate facilitation skills with the ability to drive issues to closure. Self-motivated and able to handle tasks with minimal supervision or questions. - Technical Skills: Proficiency in Structured Query Language (SQL), Power BI, VBA, Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, Project, and Outlook.
