As the Head of Compliance youwill be responsible for leading the Compliance team, ensuring JPMorgan entities’ adhere to local and international regulations. This role is crucial for safeguarding the bank's integrity andmaintaining the trust of clients and regulators. The ComplianceOfficer is responsible for the development and execution of the Compliance Program for the businesses and functions operatingthrough the JPM Colombian legal entities. This role is alsoaccountable for the AML Program and will be the designated MoneyLaundering Reporting Officer for the regulated entities. Thisposition requires solid knowledge and experience on banking andmarkets’ regulatory requirements, and deep understanding ofproducts and services typically offered by the financial servicesindustry. The role demands influencing, leadership andcollaboration skills. Job Responsibilities - Oversees the business’compliance with laws, regulations and applicable policies -Develops and executes the Country Compliance Program, includingactivities demanded by local regulation and firmwide frameworks -Manages effective relationships with regulators. Responsible forhandling regulatory inquiries and exams. - Oversees implementationof applicable global compliance policies and procedures in thecountry - Is accountable for the execution of the AML Program,ensuring compliance with local regulation and Global AML Policiesand Standards - Analyzes, assesses and monitors current andemerging compliance risks and applicable controls - Providesstrategic advice to senior management on regulatory and compliancematters. Liaise with the business and support functions forday-to-day compliance related questions or issues; - Works closelywith internal groups including partnering with Lines of Business(LOB) Compliance and Operational risk, Legal, Audit and RiskManagement to ensure consistent understanding of requirements andrelated actions. Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills - Bachelor’s degree in Law, Finance, Business Administration orrelated - 10+ years of prior experience in Compliance or relatedareas (e.g. legal departments, risk management, audit, etc.) withinthe financial services industry - Strong technical knowledge onfinancial industry local regulatory requirements, including Anti-Money Laundering (AML) - Experience in liaising with financialregulators and other key country level regulators - Strongleadership, communication, interpersonal and management skills withproven ability to lead and motivate high performing teams; -Ability to engage, collaborate with and influence broad stakeholdergroup that includes business leaders and other control functionslocally and globally - Ability to work in a dynamic andhigh-pressure environment - Fluency in Spanish (local language) and English is a must #J-18808-Ljbffr
