Visa is seeking a highly motivated Finance Business Intelligence (BI) Support Analyst to join the Corporate Technology Support Organization. Finance Business Intelligence (BI) Support Analyst will provide operational support for our mission-critical Finance BI applications. The ideal candidate will ensure high availability and performance, monitor and manage scheduled jobs, and troubleshoot issues to minimize business disruptions. You will provide root cause analyses for any system or process issues, ensuring that remediation plans are devised, discussed, agreed upon, and executed, resulting in the permanent resolution of these issues. In addition, you will be pivotal in ensuring adherence to customer service level agreements for various corporate finance applications. Essential Functions: Provide operational support for mission-critical Business Intelligence (BI) applications, ensuring high availability and performance. Monitor and manage scheduled jobs using job scheduling tools, preferably Control-M, to ensure timely and successful execution. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to BI applications, data pipelines and scheduled jobs, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations. Collaborate with development teams to understand application functionality and data workflows. Utilize batch/shell scripting, SQL, DAX, and pySpark to diagnose and resolve technical issues. Use Splunk for log analysis, monitoring, and alerting to proactively identify and address system issues. Assist in incident management and problem resolution by providing timely and effective support. Document support processes, troubleshooting steps, and resolutions for future reference and knowledge sharing. Perform regular system health checks and maintenance activities to ensure optimal performance. Communicate effectively with stakeholders, providing updates on incident status, resolution times, and system performance. This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your hiring manager. Basic Qualifications: 6+ years of relevant work experience with a bachelor’s degree or at least 3 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 0 years of work experience with a PhD, OR 8+ years of relevant work experience. Proven experience in a support role, preferably within a Business Intelligence or data-centric environment. Strong technical skills in batch/shell scripting, SQL, DAX, and PySpark. Experience with job scheduling tools, preferably Control-M. Proficiency in using Splunk for log analysis and monitoring. Preferred Qualifications: Familiarity with BI tools such as Tableau and Power BI is a plus. Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders. Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team. Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Experience with data warehousing concepts. Familiarity with Agile methodologies. Basic understanding of data modeling and ETL processes.
