We are seeking a Legal Specialist to join our expanding team in Colombia. This role is ideal for a motivated legal professional looking to grow within the fast-paced world of financial services. You will work closely with the Head of Legal and Legal Team Leader to manage contracts, support regulatory compliance, and ensure operational governance across jurisdictions. - Draft, review, and negotiate legal documents including NDAs, trading agreements, and vendor/client contracts. - Maintain and develop standard contract templates to ensure legal and regulatory alignment. - Manage a centralized contract repository with accurate version control and audit readiness. - Support company secretarial tasks such as board resolutions and statutory filings before the Cámara de Comercio and Superintendencia de Sociedades. - Conduct legal research and prepare internal memos and reports on regulatory matters (SFC, AML/CFT, Habeas Data, and other applicable Colombian financial regulations). - Collaborate with Compliance, Finance, and Operations teams to ensure smooth and compliant business practices within Colombia and across international entities. About you: - Law degree (LLB or equivalent Colombian título profesional en Derecho). - 1–3 years' experience in legal, regulatory, or contract management (in-house or law firm). - Solid grasp of contract law, corporate governance, and Colombian commercial law. - Knowledge of regulations issued by the Superintendencia Financiera de Colombia (SFC), AML/CFT frameworks, Habeas Data (Ley 1581 de 2012), and other relevant Colombian FS laws. - Detail-oriented with strong written and verbal communication skills. - Able to work independently and manage deadlines. - Experience with policy drafting or contract repositories is a plus.
