Who We Are The British Columbia Regional Council of Carpenters (“BCRCC”) is a Union, that is comprised of highly skilled individuals employed in the building trades industry in British Columbia. The BCRCC represents thousands of members across BC and provides them with a variety of services to support them in their careers, including benefits, pension, training and more. **Requirements**: - Understand and model the values of the United Brotherhood of Carpenters and Joiners of America. - Build partnerships with Project Managers and Site Superintendents, developing a keen understanding of short and long-term project staffing requirements. - Proactively partner with business to develop an in-depth understanding of resourcing. - Regularly and proactively communicate project status with site and internal stakeholders. - Confirm validity of safety certifications and arrange additional training when required. - Track and report on KPIs which include: new memberships, retention, time/cost to hire, training, and service levels. - Other duties as assigned. Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities - Previous recruitment experience recruiting in the construction/ trades industry or related experience recruiting in a high-volume environment. - Strong written and verbal communication skills. - Excels under pressure. - Intermediate MS Office suite user. - Superb time management, scheduling, and organizational skills. - Have demonstrated ability to be proactive and self-starting and work in a team-based environment. - Service and sales oriented. - Fluent in English, a second language is an asset. - Willingness to travel frequently and on short notice (75% travel). - Ability to work extended hours including evenings and weekends. - Completed post secondary education in a related field preferred (business, human resources, labour relations). Compensation: - Salary starts at $70,000 + Performance Bonus earned as a result of meeting KPI benchmarks. - RRSP matching. - Employer paid health and welfare plan. - Smart casual to business casual work attire (circumstances dependant). - Reimbursement for use of personal vehicle & insurance top/ use of fleet vehicle. - Provision of cell phone for work use.
