Financial Analyst Opportunity This position provides a unique chance to work in an analytical environment, leveraging business intelligence processes and collaborating with various departments across the company. The Financial Analyst plays a key role in analyzing business results and providing insights into key initiative performance through analyses, collaboration, and communication. The analyst will serve as a business partner in a cross-functional capacity with leadership across our departments. Key Responsibilities - Evaluate Key Initiatives: Establish frameworks to assess the efficacy of key initiatives and provide actionable recommendations. - Develop Financial Models: Create and enhance financial models for reporting, reviewing results, and forecasting. - Analyze and Present Findings: Prepare and present analyses, findings, and executive reports including strategic reviews with senior executives. - Data Analysis: Extract data from various databases and perform sophisticated analysis to drive business insight. - Interdepartmental Collaboration: Interact with management at all levels to facilitate information gathering and coordination. - Forecasting and Budgeting: Collaborate with budget owners to coordinate annual plan and forecast inputs while providing monthly performance-to-budget reporting. - Ad Hoc Analysis: Provide ad hoc financial statement modeling and in-depth analysis to drive intelligent decision making. Requirements - Experience: 2+ years of relevant experience in financial planning and analysis. - Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret business needs. - Interpersonal Skills: Excellent interpersonal skills, including diplomacy, negotiating, reasoning, problem solving, and influence. - Data Visualization: Skilled at developing and presenting executive-level communications and data visualization. - Organizational Skills: Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. - Confidentiality: Ability to maintain confidentiality and display good judgment. - Cross-Functional Relationships: Ability to develop strong interdepartmental and cross-functional working relationships. - Technical Skills: Advanced Excel skills and a professional command of the English language, both written and verbal. - Education: Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field. Recommended Qualifications - SAP Experience: Experience working with SAP. - Analytical Reporting Tools: Experience working with analytical reporting tools. - SQL and Relational Databases: Familiar with SQL and relational databases. - Budgeting and Planning Methodologies: Experience with budgeting and planning methodologies and tools. - Advanced Education: Master's degree in finance, accounting, or related field. - Certifications: CFA or CPA/SOCPA certification a plus.
