The IT Support Engineer will primarily provide remote services to our clients in the United States, including Tier 1 through 3 support (mostly Tier 2). Tasks include maintaining and managing the IT infrastructure and operational needs of the client, including hardware and software issues, desktops, peripherals, and end-user issues. This position supports our Managed IT services clients from our Barranquilla office. Job Details: Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues (Tier 1 through 3). Communicate effectively with clients via phone and email, articulating technical solutions to non-technical people. Excellent problem-solving skills, utilizing all available resources to resolve issues and provide best practice IT solutions. Take ownership of complex problems and follow through with minimal supervision. Document work continuously throughout the day, providing detailed ticket and timesheet updates. Familiar with best practice IT procedures for networks from 5 to 200 users, able to convey essential information to clients. Dependable and reliable, available between 8:30 AM and 6:00 PM, Monday-Friday, US EST Time. Participate in an on-call rotation.
