Job Summary Reporting to the Finance Manager, the position is responsible for overseeing the Accounts Payable and General Accounting processes of the company, and the accurate and timely completion of financial reporting monthly. The role is also responsible for the preparation and consolidation of budget and latest forecast. Responsibilities Accounts Payable & Financial Analysis Oversees Accounts Payable to ensure timely payment, goods receipts are matched against invoices, and AP processes are completed timely for monthly closing. Analysis of operating expenses to ensure completeness prior to closing of the books. Preparation of bank reconciliation, review of Balance Sheet reconciliation related to Cash and Payables, and collaborates with the Finance team for any adjustments. Prepares journal entries for payroll, amortization of prepayments, and accrual of expenses. Oversees Cost Accounting functions such as product costing and inventory control. Assists in timely filing and payment of taxes. Financial Planning/Forecasting Preparation/consolidation of company’s annual budget, quarterly projections, and flash reports. Analyzes actual against budgets to ensure profitability of the company as planned. Reports material variances against plan. Prepares cash flow and manages funds for effective company disbursements. Audit/Tax Preparation of reports/schedules related to cash and AP for statutory audit and for disclosure in Financial Statements. Preparation/consolidation of tax payments needed for the AFS disclosure and for monitoring tax payments. Assists in the internal audit, statutory audit, and tax audit documentation requirements. Ad Hoc Duties Participates in workgroup meetings. Performs other duties/tasks that may be assigned from time to time. Represents the company before government agencies such as the Bureau of Internal Revenue for clearances and submission of documents. Qualifications Bachelor's degree or higher in Accountancy, Finance, or a related field. Minimum five (5) years of relevant experience. Preferably Certified Public Accountant. Fluency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.). Well-versed in SAP environment. Detail-oriented and analytical. Willing to be assigned at the San Pascual, Batangas plant site.
