Job Summary "> This leadership position plays a pivotal role in the success of our clients by ensuring seamless project delivery and implementation solutions. "> About the Role "> The Professional Services Director serves as a strategic partner to our Field Operations team, identifying and cultivating opportunities for growth while representing our services delivery approach to clients. This individual will drive continuity and knowledge transfer as institutions move from prospect to customer, ensuring a responsive and timely articulation of our value proposition and implementation methodology. "> Main Responsibilities "> 1. Liaison between Field Operations and PMO/Delivery Practices: Develop and maintain strong relationships with cross-functional teams to ensure effective communication and collaboration. 2. Client Needs and Expectations: Conduct thorough research to understand the needs and expectations of targeted higher education institutions, forecasting and mitigating potential concerns related to project implementation and governance. 3. Demo Presentations and Contract Negotiations: Collaborate with the proposal team to produce high-quality RFP responses, participate in demo presentations, and negotiate contracts with confidence and passion using domain expertise. 4. Reference Lists and Team Meetings: Establish and maintain reference lists across regions, solution areas, and other criteria, participating in regional sales team meetings and conferences/webinars as needed. Requirements "> 1. Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree and at least 12 years of overall experience, including 3+ years of senior-level Professional Services experience and higher education tech implementation experience in LMS, SIS, and/or CRM solutions. 2. Communication and Presentation Skills: Strong oral and written communication skills, excellent presentation skills, and ability to articulate process steps logically. 3. Project Management and Teamwork: Highly organized with exceptional eye for detail, able to prioritize work, and possess strong project management skills; self-motivated and self-directed, with a positive outlook in the face of deadlines and adversity. 4. Fluency in English: Fluency in written and spoken English at CEF B2 level or above.
