Job Title: Research Project Analyst Lead Department: Center for Health Policy, College of Health Sciences, University of Missouri - Columbia About the Job The MU Center for Health Policy seeks skilled research data analysts to conduct data analysis and analytical studies that support planning, policy development, research, and decision-making activities. The successful candidate will work on a variety of projects, including those focused on health policy, healthcare outcomes, and social determinants of health. Key Responsibilities - Conduct complex research and data analysis, including scoping research questions, designing statistical analyses, and developing new metrics and algorithms. - Analyze and interpret qualitative and quantitative data from various sources, including EHR systems, clinical and public health registries, and administrative claims data. - Develop and implement assessments, data analysis plans, and research tools to collect, analyze, and interpret research data. - Provide data analysis and support to project teams, as well as present findings and recommendations to stakeholders. Requirements - Bachelor's or master's degree in health sciences, social sciences, or related field, with at least 3 years of experience in research and data analysis. - Experience working with large-scale data collection and management, research methodology, and program/project design and implementation. - Knowledge of public policy and regulatory reporting related to federal and state Medicaid programs. - Statistical analysis skills and ability to work collaboratively with others.
