We’re looking for a Proficient Network/Telecom Administrator + Advanced English. Location: Bogotá, Distrito Capital. This is a hybrid schedule: 3 days in the office and 2 days at home. Schedule: Mon-Fri, 12 pm to 8 pm (Colombia time). We work alongside teams in India (therefore, we offer a 24/7 service) Language: Advanced English. Contract Type: Permanent contract. Requirements: Minimum 2 to 4 years of experience as a Network/Telecom Administrator. Experience configuring the entire Cisco suite. Experience working with major Cisco Voice solutions: Jabber, Webex Calling, Contact Center. Support and resolution of connectivity and telecommunications incidents. Advanced Network Security: Cisco SourceFire and Cisco Threat Grid. Must have experience verifying server and firewall logs, analyzing network traffic, setting up and updating virus scans, troubleshooting, analyzing and resolving security breaches and vulnerability issues. Knowledge of mitigating various attacks and auditing firewall rules to identify control flaws. Responsibilities: Support for network alerts generated by Monitoring tools: Access Points, Switches, Routers, WAN circuits, Internet circuits. Tickets and incidents resolution. Ticket and incident documentation. Maintain up to date the network inventory: Access Points, Switches, Routers, WAN circuits, Internet circuits, Contact lists, References, Providers. Keep OS or firmware's up to date. Responsible for projects implementation. Ticket analysis. Best practice recommendation in terms of network support.
