Functions: • Establish and strengthen partnerships with key telecommunications operators in Central Latin America, including Millicom-Tigo, EMCali, Celsia, and other potential customers. Developing also strong technical relationships with the customer engineering and operation team. • Lead and execute market strategies for fiber optic cable, Optical Distribution Network (ODN), access networks (FTTx and 5G Fixed Wireless Access), and transport networks (OTN/SDH) across Colombia and neighboring countries, developing product solution marketing plans aimed at generating purchase orders. • Provide comprehensive technical proposals, perform competitive benchmarking, and define bidding strategies for major optical communication projects, including national broadband initiatives and carrier backbone upgrades, leading technical negotiations to ensure alignment with customer requirements and commercial success. • Collaborate closely with our headquarters R&D; teams to localize new technologies—such as PON network OLTs, ONTs and APs, intelligent ODN management systems, and high- density fiber cable solutions—for the Colombian and Central Latin American markets. Key Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Communication Engineering, • Electronic Information, Marketing, or other technical related fields. • Preferred certifications include CCNA (Cisco Certified Network • Associate), Huawei certifications (HCIA, HCIP, HCIE), or other industry-recognized qualifications covering key areas such as access networks, data communications, transmission technologies, and wireless networking. • Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in marketing within the telecommunications technology industry, including roles at network operators, equipment manufacturers, or solution providers. • Familiar with marketing procedures with telecommunication products and services, such as PON Networks, OTN Networks, optical fiber cables, and enterprise dedicated lines. • Effective English communication skills, setting English as your working language. • Strong problem-solving and time-management skills.
