Our team is looking for an experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to oversee the lifecycle of software applications, including deployment, monitoring, maintenance, and optimization. Key Responsibilities - Develop design and specifications based on project requirements for multiple products in the Products and Software Development (P&SD;) portfolio. - Build and manage cloud services and related software, specifically Azure, AWS, GitHub, Artifactory. - Consult with project and product teams on the best use of cloud services. - Manage and operate Windows and Linux-based systems. - Build out new cloud infrastructure (IaC based Bicep or Terraform). - Maintain cloud infrastructure by following site reliability engineering (SRE) principles. - Implement and share DevOps culture across delivery teams and the broader business. - Build and deploy system improvement ideas. - Responsible for the Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery process. - Work with developers to streamline application delivery processes. - Document existing processes. - Apply effective communication skills with team and client interaction. - Actively involved in regular project planning activities. - Work closely with the development team to support product delivery by automating processes on the platform and application layers. - Work with project stakeholders to create status reports, identify requirements and risks on the project. - Coach and mentor team members. - May provide line management for junior and senior DevOps Engineers, including nurture talent, skills progression, manage performance and build team cohesiveness and engagement. Requirements - Bachelor's degree level or holds a relevant professional qualification. - Awareness of critical concepts in DevOps and Agile principles and best practices. - Collaborative attitude and the ability to work well with others to achieve a common goal. - The ability to take the initiative and drive for results. - Possess strong troubleshooting capabilities and capable critical thinking skills and attitude. - Excellent time management and organizational skills. - Team leader experience on previous projects. - Demonstrated training and/or applied experience as coach and/or mentor.
