At Lokan, we’re partnering with a global data & analytics company in search of someone who blends technical understanding, a consultative mindset, and clear communication to support and elevate pre-sales processes. The role and its impact We’re looking for a PreSales Engineer to support complex sales cycles, build trust with both technical and business stakeholders, and contribute to the design of modern data architecture solutions. It’s a key role for those who love working alongside clients, collaborating across teams, and serving as a strategic bridge between challenges and solutions. What you’ll be doing Support pre-sales conversations across various industries, translating client needs into actionable solution designs. Deliver demos and prototypes that bring ideas to life and reflect the technical vision. Collaborate with consultants and data engineers to ensure solutions are feasible and aligned with project goals. Co-create proposals and technical documentation to support the sales journey. Communicate clearly and confidently in English, both in writing and in conversation. What we’re looking for 2+ years of experience in pre-sales, consulting, or solution engineering roles. Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and modern data tools. Experience with Databricks is a strong plus. A talent for storytelling with data and a consultative approach to problem-solving. Strong interpersonal and communication skills across technical and non-technical audiences. Curiosity, initiative, and a collaborative spirit. This is a 100% remote position , open to candidates based in Argentina or Colombia , working with teams and clients in the United States.
