Job Overview The SCDMV is seeking a passionate and self-driven Training Manager to join our team. This role is located in the Chief of Staff Office, Training Unit at the SCDMV Headquarters in Blythewood, SC. The successful candidate will oversee training programs, support instructors, and ensure effective training delivery across the agency. Key Responsibilities Manage, coach, and support a team of training instructors and designers. Collaborate with the L&D Manager and Training Specialist Supervisor to identify and support employees needing additional training. Oversee the creation and implementation of training sessions, including Wednesday Morning Trainings and other materials. Maintain training schedules, materials, and resources. Develop metrics to evaluate training success and report outcomes using the agency LMS. Evaluate instructor performance and instructional effectiveness, providing feedback and support. Stay current with instructional methods, technologies, and best practices. Perform other duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree and relevant training and development experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (subject to prior approval). Additional Requirements Valid South Carolina driver’s license. Successful completion of a nationwide criminal background check, including fingerprinting. Preferred Qualifications One year of instructional experience or a related bachelor’s degree.
