The Engineering Manager leads engineering efforts in Colombia and acts as a technical bridge between Colombia and USA, collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive product development and customer satisfaction. - Leads backend design and development of enterprise SaaS products using Node.js and Express.js, adhering to Clean Architecture and SOLID principles. - Mentors backend developers and establishes coding best practices, ensuring adherence to security and scalability standards. - Collaborates with Product, QA, and DevOps teams in an Agile environment to manage RESTful APIs lifecycle and integrate with AWS services. The ideal candidate has 10+ years of backend development experience in enterprise SaaS environments, strong proficiency in Node.js and Express.js, and advanced experience with MS SQL Server and MongoDB. Fluency in English (written and spoken) is essential, and familiarity with CI/CD tools like JIRA, Bitbucket, and Confluence is a plus. Experience with AWS services, Docker, and infrastructure automation knowledge are nice-to-have qualifications for this role.
