As we expand into Colombia, we seek a Country Managerto lead with purpose, drive strategic growth, and build a team thatembodies our values. This role will work in a matrix structure,reporting directly to the COO while closely collaborating withother functions. The ideal candidate will have experience inmanaging global technology operations, with a strong understandingof AI, Cloud, and digital transformation services. KeyResponsibilities: - Establish & Scale the Offshore DevelopmentCenter: - Lead the setup, scaling, and operational efficiency ofthe Medellín offshore center. - Define growth strategies to expandthe center’s impact and expertise in AI-driven digitaltransformation. - Ensure alignment with global objectives,delivering value to customers in Europe and the USA. - Build &Lead; Competency Center Teams: - Work with global capability leadersto establish and manage Competency Centers focused on AI, Cloud,Data Engineering, Quality Engineering and Software Development. -Work closely with capability leaders to refine talent and growthstrategies. - Work with talent acquisition to attract top-tierengineering talent. - Drive technical excellence and continuouslearning initiatives to enhance team capabilities. - Legal,Regulatory & Compliance Management: - Act as the legalrepresentative for Solvd in Colombia, ensuring regulatorycompliance. - Work closely with external legal and tax advisors tooversee contracts, employment laws, and corporate governance. -Ensure compliance with Colombian labor laws, tax regulations, andfinancial reporting requirements. - Financial Oversight & CostOptimization: - Oversee financial planning, budgeting, and costcontrol for the Colombian entity. - Collaborate with corporatefinance teams to align with global financial strategies. - Ensurethe profitability and sustainability of the offshore center. - HR,Talent Management & Company Culture: - Provide guidance onbenefits and social engagement to create a better employeeexperience and to optimize for retention. - Foster a strong companyculture, ensuring high levels of employee engagement and retention. - Stakeholder Engagement & External Representation: - RepresentSolvd in Colombia, engaging with government agencies, industryassociations, and local partners. - Establish partnerships withuniversities, tech hubs, and AI research institutions to strengthentalent pipelines. - Promote Solvd’s brand and reputation as a topemployer in Colombia. Qualifications & Experience: - 15+ yearsof experience in managing offshore technology delivery centers orsimilar operations. - Proven expertise in AI, Cloud, DataEngineering, or Software Development. - Strong understanding ofColombian legal, financial, and HR regulations. - Experienceworking with global teams and a matrix reporting structure. -Fluent in English & Spanish (both written and spoken). -Background in scaling technology teams and driving competencydevelopment. - Exceptional leadership, communication, and strategicthinking skills. - Experience working with European & USclients is a strong advantage. #J-18808-Ljbffr
