We are currently looking for an experienced Freight Broker Sales Agent, to join a company that operates in the international freight logistics and transportation sector, with a particular focus on freight forwarding and transportation brokerage, in Barranquilla, Colombia This role is perfect for someone with a strong sales background in logistics, especially in ocean freight imports from the U.S. to Colombia. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a proven ability to close deals, and deep knowledge of international trade and customs procedures. Key Responsibilities: Develop and manage relationships with clients importing cargo from the U.S. Negotiate competitive rates with carriers and NVOCCs. Work closely with operations and documentation teams to ensure compliance and smooth freight movement. Identify new business opportunities and meet monthly/quarterly sales targets. Requirements: 3–5 years of experience in freight forwarding or logistics sales (focused on ocean imports). Strong knowledge of Colombian import procedures and customs clearance. Fluent in both English and Spanish (mandatory). Proficient in CRM systems, freight quoting tools, and Microsoft Office. Existing client portfolio in Colombia is a strong plus.
