In surgery, orthopedics, vision, and interventional solutions, we continue to help save lives and create a future where healthcare solutions are smarter, less invasive, and more personalized. **We are searching for the best talent for TRADE OPERATIONS MD SR LEAD to be in Bogota.** **Purpose**:Responsible for the coordination & optimization of the product import/export processes for all sectors in North Cluster and Dropshipment countries, Medical Devices, Janssen to assure product availability and flawless operation, as well as to achieve service, compliance, regulatory & safety, and cost objectives. **You will be responsible for**: - Lead all aspects of international trade logistics to determine the most cost-effective and efficient means of transporting products. - Support the development of realistic goals / KPI's / reports for the area, monitor and communicate continuously. - Responsible for People Management processes including selection, retention, motivation and people development (including self). Identify high potentials & provide development opportunities ensuring exposure and visibility within the organization. - Interface effectively with Planning, Sales & Marketing, Regulatory Affairs, Health Care Compliance, Quality and Finance to manage cross functional processes & resolve issues impacting areas of responsibility. - Support the annual Capital and Business Plan Process under assigned scope, assure financial commitments (accruals, payments, landed cost, duties expenses, etc.) are accomplished and make sure payment processes follow policies and procedures. - Coordinate insurance aspects of products within the country, including reimbursements, claims and negotiation of rates. - Maintain / lead business continuity based on compliance policies and business quality standards - Support and implement cost and business supply solutions in terms of projects / cost cut initiatives / process continuous development. - Assure Acquisitions & Divestiture and New Product Introduction implementation execution. - Support transport sourcing events implementation as well as supplier performance management (supplier requirements, service level measurement, budget follow up, etc.). - Assure trade compliance program is appropriately implemented, supports periodic audits from global standards processes and escalation of issues / notifications from external / internal parties. - Coordinate and maintain GTS / HTS processes in place to avoid procurement blocks or product classification issues. - Implement effective controls and procedures for Special Regimes (e.g., Drawback, Free Trade Agreement, etc.) regarding import / export according to local regulation and company policies, aligned with tax, compliance and accounting internal areas. - Serve as a focal point for external and internal audits involving Customs authorities and other compliance assurance external areas as well as maintain effective relationship with key regulation government agencies (Sanitary, Customs, etc.) - Coordinate and control international customs programs, commercial agreements or practices (e.g., OEA), when applicable. - Work in collaboration with Regional Areas such as Intra-Region Transportation, Trade Compliance, Compliance Controller Deliver Segment Pivot, Procurement and Performance Management to continuously foster improvements to our Customers / Patients / Business Partners. **Qualifications**: - Professional bachelor’s degree: Logistics Ops, Business Adm
