We are seeking a dynamic and experienced HR Shared Services Lead to join our team in Bogotá, Colombia. This role is pivotal in establishing and supporting our regional HR delivery team, ensuring the successful implementation of our HR shared service model in alignment with Wood's HR and business strategy. In this role, you will partner with managers and in-country SMEs to transition activities from local HR to the HRDS team, overseeing daily operations and managing workload effectively. You will ensure tasks are completed within defined service level agreements (SLAs) and engage with stakeholders to meet both immediate and long-term service delivery needs. Your expertise will be crucial in guiding team members to adhere to standard operating procedures (SOPs) and deliver high-quality outputs. You will monitor team progress, mentor new members, and ensure objectives are met on time. Addressing team queries and resolving issues will be part of your daily routine, along with leading regular team meetings to foster collaboration and disseminate best practices. Confidentiality and accuracy in handling information are paramount, as is compliance with organizational policies and legal requirements. As the secondary point of contact for escalated cases, you will ensure effective communication and timely resolution. Tracking, reporting, and analyzing team performance and KPIs will be essential to maintain high standards. Collaboration with HRDS regional teams and the HR global process owner (GPO) will ensure consistency and global alignment of Wood’s HR service delivery. Demonstrating safety leadership within the team is also a key aspect of this role. Qualifications: Educational Background: Business or HR undergraduate degree (Pregrado; Administración de Empresas, Gestión Humana). Language Skills: B2 level on English test – C1/C2 is preferred. Knowledge, Skills, and Experience: HR Expertise: Proven experience leading an HR shared services setup with automated HR tools. Industry Experience: Prior experience in HR shared services for a US or Canadian-based company – highly preferred. Leadership: Demonstrable management experience in developing and establishing a mature shared service. Team Management: Strong experience in managing teams and holding team members accountable for outcomes, expectations, and SLAs/KPIs. Technical Skills: Strong systems knowledge for Oracle HCM, Oracle EBS R12, Microsoft Office Suite. Decision Making: Ability to make sound decisions that align with Wood’s strategy and function priorities while adhering to Wood’s policies. Communication: Excellent communication skills to engage with employees and leaders across Wood. Problem Solving: Ability to solve problems and think creatively. Change Management: Experience managing and supporting large change programs. Personal Attributes: Accountability: Ability to maintain accountabilities and boundaries for HR shared services processes and procedures. Proactivity: Proactive approach and cultural awareness of working practices in the US and Canada. Communication: Excellent and concise communication skills.
