We are seeking a Lead Data Scientist with strong expertise in Python and SQL to join our remote team. As a Lead Data Scientist, you will play a crucial role in identifying business problems, analyzing data, building and validating models, and presenting findings in a clear and informative manner. Your work will contribute to shaping the future of data-driven decision-making within our organization. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in Python and SQL for data analysis and modeling, as well as 1+ years of relevant leadership experience. Strong experience in data-focused applied mathematics, including statistical analysis and machine learning, is also essential. You will be responsible for: - Identifying and addressing business problems through data analysis and modeling - Utilizing Python and SQL to analyze and interpret data effectively - Building and validating analytical models for various applications, including Deep Learning, AI, and Time Series Forecasting - Presenting findings and insights in a clear and informative manner - Collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive data-driven decision-making In addition to your technical skills, you should have effective communication and presentation skills, with fluency in English. Nice to have: exposure to MLOps solutions such as SageMaker, Vertex, or Azure ML, and familiarity with Big Data solutions, particularly Spark/PySpark.
