This is a permanent full-time position to work at our Cartago site, located in Zona Franca La Lima. Job Function Summary: The Incoming Quality Assistant is responsible for ensuring that incoming raw materials are released on time by verifying the Certificate of Analysis / Certificate of Conformity provided by suppliers and confirming compliance with system specifications. Additionally, they will oversee that handling of non-conforming materials adheres to internal Coloplast requirements. Major Areas of Accountability: Incoming Raw Materials / Intermediates: Sampling, testing, and compliance verification; releasing or rejecting raw materials based on specifications; collaboration with Supplier Quality Engineers; daily communication with warehouse regarding material conditions. Raw Materials / Intermediates Under Quarantine: Transferring and booking non-conforming materials; handling scrap materials; maintaining quarantine locations and reporting stock levels. Expired Raw Materials / Intermediates: Initiating prolongation requests, testing, documentation, and following non-conformity rules for scrap materials. Handling of Non-Conformities: Opening non-conformity reports and managing related warehouse activities for points A, B, and C. Other Areas: Daily collaboration with supplier quality and warehouse teams; timely handling of non-conformities; monitoring quarantine areas; releasing or rejecting incoming materials; managing lot statuses in E1. Responsibilities: Perform tasks in accordance with provided guidelines. Report any difficulties in understanding or following guidelines to the manager. Highlight system inefficiencies. Ensure safety aspects are addressed for the position. Support a positive EHS culture. Minimum Requirements: At least 3 years of experience in Quality.
