Discover the Role We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Client Staff Accountant to join our team. This highly interactive role focuses on full-cycle accounting for our clients, requiring hands-on experience with accounts receivable (AR), accounts payable (AP), bank transactions, reconciliations, prepaid expenses, fixed assets, and monthly financial statement preparation. The ideal candidate thrives in a collaborative team environment, communicates effectively with clients, excels at problem-solving, and embraces a dynamic and fast-paced work setting. Key Responsibilities - Full-Cycle Accounting: Handle all aspects of accounting, including AR/AP processing, bank transactions, reconciliations, and the maintenance of prepaid expenses and fixed asset schedules. - Financial Statement Preparation: Prepare and finalize monthly financial statements for clients, ensuring accuracy and adherence to GAAP or IFRS reporting standards. - Client Interaction: Communicate regularly with clients to understand their needs, provide financial insights, address inquiries, and deliver exceptional service. - Team Collaboration: Actively contribute to a team-oriented environment, collaborating on tasks with 4 eye review to ensure high-quality results. - System Reviews & Process Improvement: Regularly participate in system reviews to identify inefficiencies, recommend improvements, and enhance overall operational effectiveness. - Dynamic Problem-Solving: Approach challenges with a solution-oriented mindset, analysing issues, identifying root causes, and implementing practical resolutions. - Compliance & Accuracy: Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies while maintaining precise and timely record-keeping. Key Requirements Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. - 2+ years of experience in full-cycle accounting or related roles. - Strong understanding of AR/AP, bank reconciliations, and general ledger accounting. - Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite) and advanced Excel skills. - Excellent problem-solving skills and a solution-oriented mindset. - Exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment. - Strong interpersonal skills with a proven ability to communicate effectively with clients and collaborate within a team. Preferred Skills: - Business English writing and clear communication. - Experience working in a client-facing role or accounting service firm. - Familiarity with process improvement methodologies or system optimization.
