Consultor Junior We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Environmental Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in environmental sciences, with experience in project management and sustainability. This is a unique opportunity to work on a variety of projects related to climate change, sustainable development, and environmental conservation. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the development of technical and methodological projects, participating in their conceptualization, execution, and socialization. Key responsibilities include: - Supporting the provision of services related to greenhouse gas (GHG) inventory, including operational scope 1+2 and scope 3 of the value chain, GHG accounting for FLAG, advisory services on voluntary and regulated compliance, comparative evaluation, and data planning and information systems. - Carrying out research related to assigned projects, collecting and analyzing data, and interacting with various stakeholders. - Preparing reports and presentations that convey key messages and support strategic decision-making. - Ensuring timely and efficient delivery of tasks and projects, meeting established budgets. - Contributing to business development activities with new and existing clients. - Participating in global project teams with colleagues in different offices and time zones. - Working on multiple projects simultaneously, often for different clients and on various topics. - Supporting the analysis of climate risks for clients. - Performing other tasks requested by your immediate supervisor. To be considered for this role, candidates must possess: - A degree in environmental sciences, biology, environmental engineering, or related fields. - Experience in project management related to sustainability, particularly in carbon footprint and GHG topics. - C1 English proficiency. - Residency in Medellín. - Knowledge in carbon management: - Calculating an organization's carbon footprint. - Defining science-based targets (SBTs). - Global standards for GHG accounting and reporting (CDP/TCFD). - Corporate inventory of emissions of GHG. - Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint): Advanced. - Desirable: Data analysis, Power BI.
