Job Summary: "> This role involves providing technical support to the Colombia Transforma Program in order to facilitate preliminary environmental verification of activities. The successful candidate will work closely with program teams to ensure that all activities are implemented in accordance with the Country Initial Environmental Evaluation (CIEE) and Environmental Measures and Mitigation Plan (EMMP). Key Responsibilities: "> - Provide technical assistance for the formulation of construction projects and adaptation of small infrastructure. "> - Monitor the works of small infrastructure as required by the level of complexity of the activities and in coordination with the Infrastructure Manager, to ensure their mitigation measures are being implemented according with the EMMP selected. "> - Review climate change classification, previous verification of local conditions where activities are being implemented taking into account CIEE global for Colombia Transforma Program. "> - Check and verify impacts and mitigation measures under the formulation and implementation of small infrastructure activities in the intervention departments of the Program using EMMP approved for Colombia Transforma Program. "> - Provide support to develop final Environmental reports as needed, in coordination with the Infrastructure Manager, ensuring that main information has been included according with OTI expectations. "> Required Qualifications: The ideal candidate should have a degree in a relevant field such as environmental science, sustainability, or a related field. Additionally, they should have experience working on environmental projects, preferably in a similar context.
