About the Role We're seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to join our Applications Management team in Colombia (Bogotá, Medellín, Cali, Bucaramanga). As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will play a key role in overseeing the lifecycle of software applications, ensuring they meet business requirements and deliver value effectively. Responsibilities: - Design and Implement Scalable Infrastructure: Design, implement, and manage scalable, secure, and reliable Azure infrastructure to support our applications. - Develop CI/CD Pipelines: Develop and maintain Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines for multiple projects, ensuring seamless deployment processes. - Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Implement IaC using tools like Terraform, ARM templates, or Bicep to ensure consistency and efficiency in infrastructure management. - Optimize and Monitor Azure Environments: Optimize and monitor Azure environments for performance, cost, and security, ensuring optimal resource utilization. - Collaborate with Software Development and Operations Teams: Collaborate with software development and operations teams to improve workflows and ensure seamless deployment processes. - Automate Operational Tasks: Automate operational tasks, including backups, monitoring, and scaling, to improve efficiency and reduce errors. - Troubleshoot Issues: Troubleshoot issues across the infrastructure and application environments, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance. - Stay Current with Industry Trends: Stay current with the latest Azure offerings, DevOps tools, and industry trends, ensuring our solutions remain cutting-edge. Qualifications - Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Related Field: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience). - 5+ Years of DevOps Experience: 5+ years of experience in DevOps, with a focus on Azure. - Infrastructure as Code (IaC) Expertise: Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, ARM templates, or Bicep). - Scripting Languages: Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python, PowerShell). - Containerization: Solid understanding of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes). - Problem-Solving Skills: Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure. - Communication and Teamwork Skills: Excellent communication and teamwork skills. - English Proficiency: English proficiency level B2-C1.: Fluency in written and spoken English is essential, as the role involves frequent communication with international teams and stakeholders. Nice to Have - Experience with Other Cloud Platforms: Experience with other cloud platforms (AWS, GCP). - Certifications: Certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure DevOps Engineer Expert or Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert.
