Job Title Senior Mgr, Development Services External Job Title: Manager, Development Services Position type: Permanent /Full Time Location: Bogota /Hybrid Job family: Software Development About the Business Area/Department: The Bespoke Area is charge of providing Tailored made solutions for Travel Agencies across Americas Region, including Robotics Solutions, Scripting Applications interacting with Selling platform covering all existing process on the Shopping, booking, ticketing and service flows and pure tailored solutions that can widely vary among middleware’s, Web Applications and functional or technical consultancy. Solutions can start since a very specific automation action up to complex process like pricing, ticketing, payments. Bespoke Americas region is composed 4 different teams based in Bogota each managing its own framework. This role will manage 4 development teams of staff Managers and employees providing services across Americas Region to the Travel Agencies and manage the relationship with internal and external customer. The role includes managing & growing the relationship with our Travel Agencies, internal customers, other engineer, Support areas and Third parties, supporting existing solutions and services, manage the relationships and revenue generation in cooperation with the Pre Sales, Customer Product & Solutions and CSM teams in order to maintain a high standard of customer satisfaction and profitability. You will contribute in sustaining and growing Amadeus market share and revenues to achieve long-term success with our Customers. In this role you’ll: Manage multiple teams of Staff employees and has accountability for their performance and results. Set performance objectives, conducts performance reviews and recommends pay actions. Define a vision for the team in line with the Hub strategy and operational challenges and translates it into a concrete action plan. Works with a high level of autonomy, leading regional initiatives and supporting Sales, Presales and Customer success management areas Act as a reference across multiple areas, anticipating solutions to complex problems.​ Optimize efficiency based on knowledge and experience with the policies, procedures, and business plan. Main Responsibilities Strategic Leadership: Guide the development and execution of the Bespoke Solutions for Travel Agencies, ensuring alignment with business objectives. Technical Project Management: Manage the roadmap, backlog, Capacity and feature prioritization for Bespoke Solutions Team Management: Support a team of technical professionals, providing support, guidance, and fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration. Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams (Engineering, UX, Marketing, Sales, and Business Units) to ensure solution capabilities align with business needs. Common Accountabilities: Be responsible for the budget, performance and results of a medium-sized teams or multiple teams of employees. Influences the resource, budget and policy planning and sets concrete development plans for the team members. Be responsible for the mid/long-term vision of the activity and the business, influencing the department's strategy based on a broad understanding of the environment. Work with a high level of autonomy, based on management directions, escalating issues only when necessary. About the ideal candidate: University Graduate with bachelor’s degree in Computer/Electronic Science or Software Engineering 15 years+ of experience in software development area +5 Years leading software teams Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing. Strong organizational skills with a high attention to detail. Ability to analyse objectives, considers options and plans. Ability to travel 20 % to customer sites & industry events (Latam, Noram, and Nice) Must be able to work a hybrid work arrangement. Languages: Fluent in English and Spanish, portuguese is a plus.
