We are seeking a Program Director/Manager with a strong track record leading complex IT initiatives specifically tied to the airline industry—whether through consulting, technology partnerships, or direct collaboration with airline clients. What You’ll Do Lead the planning and execution of enterprise Airline IT programs, aligning technology solutions with strategic business goals. Oversee interdisciplinary teams, including Software Development, DevOps, Cloud, Data, and Infrastructure, ensuring high performance and timely delivery. Serve as the primary liaison for clients and internal stakeholders, including C-level leadership. Drive programme governance, risk and change management, and ensure budget and timeline compliance. Champion best practices in software delivery, regulatory compliance, and quality assurance. Facilitate clear reporting and communication of progress, risks, and KPIs to executive stakeholders. Contribute to a collaborative and high-performing culture across all program teams. Required Experience & Skills 7–10 years of experience managing large-scale, high-impact technology programs. Proven success in projects related to the airline or aviation technology sector. Strong technical foundation in enterprise IT systems, digital transformation, and software development life cycles. Expertise in Agile methodologies and program governance models. Ability to manage cross-functional teams and complex stakeholder environments. English fluency is required (B2+). Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills. Location: Bogotá, Colombia (Hybrid) . Willingness to travel within Colombia 2 to 3 times per month, as required by project needs. Preferred Knowledge Familiarity with airline operations: PSS (Amadeus, Sabre, Navitaire), loyalty programs, booking engines, or disruption management. Understanding of cloud ecosystems (AWS, Azure, GCP), APIs, and data-driven systems. Experience with compliance frameworks (IATA, PCI-DSS, GDPR). Familiarity with IATA NDC standards is a plus.
