Location: Salvatech - Colombia Remote Environment: Colombian and International Teams Language: English – Advanced Full-time / Monday to Friday, 08:30–17:30 COT (UTC‑5) Salary: $5.500.000 COP Role Summary: We are looking for a highly skilled Field/Depot Service Technician to join our electronics repair team. This role focuses primarily on module-level replacement of Line Replaceable Units (LRUs) and Sub-Replaceable Units (SRUs), working from a dedicated ESD-safe lab with occasional travel to customer sites for on-site service. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, disciplined in ESD procedures, and capable of producing clear technical documentation in English. This is a hands-on role, with no board-level diagnostics or soldering required. Responsibilities: Remove and replace complete modules or boards (LRUs/SRUs), including disconnecting and reconnecting ribbon cables, plugs, and harnesses. Install spare parts from inventory (no soldering or board-level troubleshooting required). Maintain an orderly, well-functioning 24 m² repair workshop and micro-warehouse. Draft clear and accurate technical reports in English for each repair task. Ensure precise packing and labeling of outbound shipments. Support on-time dispatch and shipment documentation when needed. Travel to client sites to perform repairs when required. Qualifications: 5+ years of hands-on electronics repair experience. Strong first-time-fix mindset and consistent performance. Strict adherence to ESD safety protocols. Ability to write precise and professional technical documentation in English. High attention to detail in packing and labeling – no errors allowed in outbound shipments. Native Spanish speaker for local team communication. Willingness to travel occasionally for on-site service. Nice to Have: Certification in IPC-A-610 or J-STD-001. Previous experience working with military or medical-grade electronics. Familiarity with export paperwork and customs procedures.
