Job Title: Industrial Maintenance Specialist Cemex U.S. is seeking a skilled Industrial Maintenance Specialist to join our team in Bogota, D.C., Capital District, Colombia. Objective Execute the industrial maintenance plan, including preventive and corrective tasks, to ensure plant availability and optimal operational conditions. Responsibilities - Adhere to safety and occupational health policies to protect oneself and team members. - Ensure compliance with management system and Standard Work procedures for the role. - Understand and adhere to authority, responsibility, and accountability levels related to exposure groups (GES). - Follow policies and procedures for Procurement, Ethics, Human Resources, Legal, Information Security, Sustainability, and other relevant areas. - Comply with applicable legislation for the position. - Implement the weekly industrial maintenance plan to maintain operational availability. - Inspect electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment involved in drying, dosing, and packaging processes, following safety guidelines to ensure daily operational readiness. - Report maintenance, repair alerts, or spare part requests to the supervisor to ensure traceability of issues. Requirements - Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electromechanical, Electronic, Electrical, or Automation fields. - Minimum 3 years of experience in mechanical maintenance, including pneumatic systems, power transmissions, conveyor belts, bearing systems, metrology. - Experience in electrical maintenance, including circuit handling, power, and control. - Prior welding skills are desirable.
