What you'll be doing: We are seeking a Lead Application Support Engineer for our Platform and Infrastructure team. This dynamic, fast-paced environment offers numerous opportunities to influence our technological landscape. In this role, you will lead the Application Support team to ensure our customer-facing systems operate smoothly 24/7 by responding to alerts and actively monitoring applications and systems. Your focus will be on incident mitigation, team management, process creation, and documentation maintenance. Responsibilities: 1. Proactively identify potential issues before they impact production. 2. Create and present incident reports. 3. Collaborate with development and operations teams to prepare for upcoming releases. 4. Manage on-call rotation schedules and shift patterns. 5. Mentor and line-manage team members. 6. Participate in the hiring process for Application Support Engineers. Requirements: - Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills. - Experience supporting large-scale applications and systems. - Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills, including log and audit trail analysis. - Experience with monitoring tools such as Grafana and ELK. - Knowledge of configuring, maintaining, and routing alerts. - Ability to execute automated tasks and scripts to resolve issues or gather information. - Applications in English are warmly welcomed.
