At Applaudo, we are seeking an experienced QA Automation Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing testing procedures for our customer's software applications. About You - You have 5+ years of experience in software testing and quality assurance. - 3+ years of experience in test automation, including writing assertions, debugging failures, and contributing to test requirements. - Experience with Playwright and WebdriverIO for UI automation. - Advanced proficiency in JavaScript, essential for API automated testing. - Hands-on experience with API testing, particularly REST-based APIs, using Postman. - Experience with other automation tools, such as Selenium. - Mobile testing experience for iOS and Android applications, including mobile automation. - Ability to manage test data effectively and experience in defect tracking. - Proficiency in test script creation, execution, and reporting using automation tools. - Experience with CI/CD pipelines, particularly with Jenkins. - Basic familiarity with Linux commands for troubleshooting. - Experience with cloud-based environments, particularly AWS. Your Responsibilities - Plan, analyze, design, develop, execute and maintain manual and automated test scenarios and test data. - Identify opportunities for automation within software processes. - Identify and clearly document bugs found. Deliver regular reports on bugs found. - Support design and execute test automation strategy for the projects along with other developers and QA Analysts. - Coordinate the test plans with project managers, development managers and others. - Automate collection and delivery of test progress and test summary reports. - Support the selection and implementation of automation tools.
