We are seeking a Architectural Project Manager with exceptional leadership and design expertise to oversee and guide the development of residential and mixed-use projects from concept to completion. Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced and visionary Architectural Project Manager to oversee the architectural design and execution of residential projects. This leadership role will place you at the forefront of decision-making for architectural intentions, client collaboration, and technical coordination. You will guide the design process, ensuring projects meet the highest standards of creativity, functionality, and technical precision. As an Architectural Project Manager, you will leverage your expertise to make informed decisions on materials, structural considerations, and design directions, always aligning with client objectives and project constraints. You will coordinate closely with engineers and other consultants to ensure seamless integration of all technical aspects. Working Conditions: - Work Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours per week. Responsibilities (What the day-to-day looks like): In this role, you will be responsible for: - Lead the creation and refinement of comprehensive Revit models for Architectural design projects, ensuring meticulous accuracy and detailed documentation that aligns with the firm's standards. - Define and oversee architectural design intentions for residential projects, ensuring they align with client expectations and project objectives. - Evaluate and decide on materials, construction methodologies, and overall design directions. - Ensure all architectural solutions meet functional, aesthetic, and sustainability goals. - Serve as the primary architectural liaison, interpreting and implementing client requests into the design vision. - Present and discuss design proposals, ensuring alignment with client goals. Technical Coordination: - Oversee and approve technical drawings, construction details, and specifications. - Collaborate with structural, MEP, and other engineering teams to resolve design challenges and ensure technical accuracy. - Manage project timelines and coordinate deliverables with internal and external teams. Project Execution: - Guide projects from concept to completion, ensuring quality, accuracy, and adherence to deadlines. - Review and refine design solutions in response to technical or site constraints. - Ensure the project documentation, including detailed construction drawings and material specifications, is comprehensive and precise. Assertive communication with team members: - Maintain open communication with project team members, addressing technical inquiries, resolving design challenges, and proactively identifying potential roadblocks to maintain project momentum. - Craft detailed specification books that outline the project's material selections, finishes, fixtures, and equipment with meticulous accuracy, ensuring that the final construction aligns seamlessly with the design vision. Educational Background: - Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Architecture. - Certifications in BIM Revit and CAD Drafting Technology. - Additional qualifications in Construction Management or advanced design methodologies are highly valued. Experience: - 7+ years of experience in architectural design and project leadership, with a strong focus on residential projects. - Demonstrated expertise in material selection, construction detailing, and shop drawing coordination. - Hands-on experience working closely with engineers and other disciplines to resolve design challenges. - Proven experience leading architectural projects and executing leadership over design teams. Technical Skills: - Advanced proficiency in Revit for architectural, structural, MEP modeling, detailing, and documentation. - Advanced proficiency in Revit for architectural modeling, detailing, and documentation. - Proficiency in AutoCAD for interpreting and refining technical drawings. - Knowledge of rendering software for creating basic visualizations to support design presentations. - Deep understanding of building codes, construction methodologies, and material properties. Soft Skills: - Meticulous attention to detail and a proven ability to meet tight deadlines. - Ability to work both independently with minimal supervision and collaboratively within a team environment. - Strong decision-making abilities with a focus on informed and practical design solutions. - Exceptional leadership and communication skills to effectively guide teams and collaborate with clients. - High attention to detail and a proactive approach to solving design and coordination challenges. - Ability to balance creativity with technical precision in fast-paced environments. - Excellent oral, verbal, and written English communication skills for effective collaboration with team members. Software Proficiency Required: - Revit: Advanced proficiency in Revit is essential for creating detailed architectural models, construction details, and shop drawings for residential and construction design projects. This includes expertise in modeling complex assemblies, generating schedules and specifications, and coordinating with project teams. - AutoCAD: Proficiency in AutoCAD is beneficial for interpreting and collaborating on technical drawings with architects and engineers. - Render: Proficiency in Render softwares and managing basic detailed images for redesign options.
