About the team: FP&A Mexico Supply is a strategic and dedicated team providing comprehensive financial partnership, driving analysis, robust forecasting, and precise reporting to optimize performance across our Tequila & Mezcal Plants. About the role: The Senior FP&A Analyst plays a key role in driving financial performance and strategic decision-making for the Tequila & Mezcal Plants. This role is responsible for ensuring the integrity and timeliness of month-end closes and reporting, leading continuous improvements in financial and operational processes, and proactively identifying insights that drive value. Role Responsibilities: Strategic Business Insight & Advisory : Serve as a subject matter authority in the market's Agricultural processes, proactively identifying and articulating key drivers that impact P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow. Translate complex financial data into actionable strategic recommendations for senior leadership, providing early warnings and driving mitigation strategies for risks and optimization opportunities Advanced Financial Analysis & Performance Management : Lead and oversee comprehensive month-end close reviews and reporting, specifically for P&L figures, maintenance expenses, and Biological Assets Valuation (~$200M). Partner strategically with Agricultural Directors, operational teams, and finance controlling to deeply assess operating profit implications. Proactively identify, quantify, and develop strategic recommendations to mitigate financial risks and optimize agricultural operational performance. Strategic Partnership & Influence: Cultivate robust relationships across Finance and Operations, acting as a key strategic link to ensure a holistic view of financial performance. Influence cross-functional teams to align on financial objectives and drive collaborative initiatives that enhance overall business value. Strategic Reporting & Actionable Insights: Develop and deliver clear, compelling, and insightful narratives on profit and Biological Assets Valuation to senior management and key collaborators, translating complex data into strategic action plans. Drive decision-making through advanced financial modeling and scenario analysis. Champion the continuous improvement of financial analysis processes, integrating standard methodologies and bringing to bear technological advancements (e.g., Power BI, advanced analytics tools). Risk Management & Compliance Leadership : Proactively identify, assess, and recommend mitigation strategies for financial risks and opportunities within agricultural processes. Lead the preparation and coordination for external and internal audits, ensuring robust financial controls and compliance. Experience / skills required: Bachelor’s degree in finance, Economics, Accounting, or Business. Minimum of 5-8 years of dynamic experience in FP&A or financial reporting, with a proven track record of driving strategic insights. Profound understanding of advanced financial documents, strategic financial planning, and complex valuation methodologies. Exceptional ability to synthesize highly complex financial data into clear, compelling, and actionable strategic insights. Proven experience in managing and influencing diverse collaborators at all levels (local, regional, and global), demonstrating superior communication, negotiation, and influencing skills. Adeptness at thriving in a fast-paced, dynamic, and multinational environment, with a proven ability to proactively navigate ambiguity and get results. Advanced proficiency in Excel, sophisticated financial modeling, and ERP systems (SAP expertise is highly preferred).
