Position Overview We are looking for a strategic, creative, and tech-savvy Software Product Manager to lead the development and innovation of our platforms. The Software Project Manager is a member of the Information Technology team based in Medellin, Colombia. The position plays a pivotal role in shaping the future of our digital products, aligning business goals with user needs, and collaborating across teams to deliver high-impact solutions in the disaster recovery space. Preference for candidates living in Medellin, as the team works at WeWork Palmas every Wednesday. Consideration will be given those in Bogotá, Barranquilla, Cartagena, or Bucaramanga. Key Responsibilities - Lead end-to-end product lifecycle from discovery to launch - Conduct deep user research to identify needs, pain points, and opportunities - Define and prioritize product features and enhancements via a clear, inspiring product roadmap - Collaborate with cross-functional teams: UX/UI, engineering, business, and leadership - Write detailed product requirements, user stories, and technical specifications - Measure and improve product performance using data-driven KPIs - Facilitate user feedback loops and continuous improvement - Identify new markets and potential cross-industry applications - Communicate product vision and updates to stakeholders with clarity and impact Requirements - Fluent in English-Minimum Level B2 (i.e., ability to engage in professional conversations with English speakers) - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field - 4+ years of experience as a Software Product Manager or similar role - Strong technical understanding of software development and SaaS platforms - Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage stakeholder alignment - Experience in user research, design thinking, and agile product development - Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills - Track record of successful product launches Preferred Knowledge and Skills - Knowledge of Agile, Scrum or Lean methodologies - Experience with Figma, user flows, and prototyping tools - Familiarity with software programming principles - Understanding of SaaS business models and metrics - Experience working with data analytics and decision-making frameworks Compensation/Benefits The Software Product Manager is a long term, Full-Time, Hybrid contract position, on a one-year, renewable contract. The monthly pay range is COP 18.000.000 - COP 28.000.000, depending upon skills and experience. Benefits include 15 days of paid time off and 7 Colombian National Holidays. Contractors are responsible for paying their own social security, taxes, and private health insurance.
